Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital is part of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and provides a full range of planned and emergency services including accident and emergency, general and specialist surgery, general medicine, intensive care, rehabilitation, chemotherapy, diagnostic services, maternity, neonatal, gynaecology, paediatric care and out-patient clinics.

Bleeding disorder services
The Haemophilia, Haemostasis and Thrombosis Centre, based on the Basingstoke site, offers a wide range of services for people of all ages with haemophilia and other inherited or acquired bleeding disorders.
Any patient with a bleeding disorder will have access to specialist input for any biopsies, endoscopies or surgical procedures. Further support includes physiotherapy, psychology and combined clinics.
The centre is supported by a specialist laboratory service which offers a range of diagnostic tests.
If you have a child with a known bleeding disorder, you have open access to Charlie’s Day Unit, G Floor. This is open from 8am to midnight every weekday, and 10am until 6pm on weekends. Out of these hours contact G2 Children’s Ward, which is located in the main hospital on G floor.

Where to find us
The centre is located in Uplands House at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, on the edge of the hospital campus.

If you attending a children’s clinic then this is usually located on G floor in the main hospital. Please go into the main hospital, follow the signs to the lift and go up to G floor and follow signs to children’s outpatients.

The centre has allocated parking outside Uplands House, including one disabled parking space.
